Bangladesh Society for Total Quality Management (BSTQM) is a voluntary organisation engaged in promoting Total Quality Management (TQM) in Bangladesh. The society was established on 04 May 1996.

Late Engineer Mofiud Doula and renowned Engineer and Quality Expert Mr. A.M.M.Khairul Bashar has taken the initiative to establish BSTQM for the benefit of Bangladesh and mankind. Late Engineer Mofiud Doula was a great visionary who founded Micro Electronics Limited became the first President of the society. Engr.Mokarram Uddin Ahmed, a reputed businessman and Managing Director of Eastern Electron (Bd.) Limited was the first General Secretary. Under their leadership BSTQM emerged as a leading agency promoting quality in Bangladesh.

BSTQM is dedicated to promote quality in all walks of life. The society is working in the common cause to provide good quality product and services at a reasonable cost. The ultimate focus is to establish a better world for mankind and happier life for all.

Registered with the Directorate of Social Welfare, government of the Peoples’ Republic of Bangladesh as a voluntary organisation. Registration Number is DA-04315.

The main objectives of the society are:

• To promote Total Quality Management in Bangladesh.
• To share and exchange experiences of various enterprises and nations in implementing TQM.
• To undertake initiatives to develop skills in TQM.
